EMTs and Paramedics Save Lives

Many different paramedic and EMS specializations are available, including positions  with fire and rescue departments, hospitals, private ambulance companies , and police departments. Other EMS roles include  dispatchers, physician assistants , trainers, and sales representatives  for medical supply and service companies. The work is physically and emotionally demanding , exposing EMS workers to potential hazards, extreme weather, and infectious diseases . Job applicants need to demonstrate physical dexterity, endurance, a sound emotional disposition , and the ability to carry heavy loads.
